Day 11: Natchez Trace

Today was a super long day! It started out with a funny moment at the very beginning of our day when we were walking and all of a sudden a gaggle of runners were headed straight for us! It was funny because it was so unexpected - there weren't any signs or any warnings, just people running. I think we were looking at them just as curiously as they were looking at us!

We walked 18 miles today and now we are snuggled in a hotel out of the 20 degree night. We are super excited about that! Tomorrow is grocery shopping and errand running, and we'll be back at it on Monday.

Some photos from today: passing the 100 mile mark (!), funny runners this morning, ridiculous reflective vests on our packs, a Natchez Trace bridge, and Chris pointing the way to Tupelo.
