Day 13: Natchez Trace

It was especially difficult to leave the hotel this morning because we knew we were headed into bad weather... And Mississippi did not disappoint. We dealt with rain all day, including when we set up our tent and cooked dinner. To make matters worse, after the long anticipated cups of tea were ready, Jen tripped on a vine and knocked both cups over. Major bummer. Despite the tough weather, we have officially completed a quarter of the Trace - 111 miles. We have a wet forecast for the week. Think dry thoughts for us!
